Senior Benefits Advisors and Gwinnett Clinic Partner to Help Seniors Navigate Medicare

Posted September 21, 2026

Making healthcare decisions can feel overwhelming—especially when Medicare benefits, provider networks, prescription coverage, and enrollment periods must all be considered. That is why Senior Benefits Advisors (SBA) and Gwinnett Clinic have joined together to bring trusted Medicare education and personalized guidance directly into the communities we serve.

Through this partnership, licensed Senior Benefits Advisors will be available at participating Gwinnett Clinic locations from September through November 2026. Seniors, Medicare beneficiaries, caregivers, and family members will have an opportunity to ask questions, better understand their coverage options, and receive help preparing for the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period.

Bringing Medicare Guidance Closer to Home

Medicare is not one-size-fits-all. A plan that works well for one person may not be the right fit for someone with different doctors, prescriptions, healthcare needs, or financial priorities.

Meeting with a licensed insurance agent can help beneficiaries understand important topics such as:

- Original Medicare Parts A and B
- Medicare Advantage plans
- Medicare Supplement Insurance
- Prescription Drug Plans
- Provider networks and prescription formularies
- Premiums, deductibles, copayments, and other costs
- Medicare enrollment periods and eligibility
- Additional benefits that may be available through certain plans

The goal is to provide clear, easy-to-understand information so each individual can make a confident and informed decision about their healthcare coverage.

Supporting the Patient Beyond the Doctor’s Office

Gwinnett Clinic has a long-standing commitment to serving families throughout Gwinnett County and the surrounding communities. By partnering with Senior Benefits Advisors, the clinic can connect Medicare-eligible patients with an additional educational resource when they have questions about their insurance coverage.

Senior Benefits Advisors brings local experience, access to multiple insurance carriers, and a commitment to year-round service. Our licensed agents can help beneficiaries compare available options based on their individual needs, including their preferred doctors, medications, budget, and coverage priorities.

There is no obligation to enroll. The focus is on education, individual choice, and helping beneficiaries understand the options available to them.

Participating Gwinnett Clinic Communities

Senior Benefits Advisors will be available at select Gwinnett Clinic offices serving:

Availability and event dates will vary by location. Patients and community members are encouraged to contact the participating Gwinnett Clinic office or Senior Benefits Advisors to confirm the schedule and request an appointment.

Preparing for the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period

The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period runs from October 15 through December 7. During this time, eligible beneficiaries can review their current coverage and, when appropriate, make changes for the upcoming year.

Plans may change their premiums, provider networks, prescription coverage, cost-sharing amounts, and supplemental benefits from one year to the next. A yearly plan review can help beneficiaries determine whether their current coverage still aligns with their healthcare needs.

Before meeting with an advisor, beneficiaries may find it helpful to bring:

- Their Medicare card
- A list of current prescription medications
- The names of their doctors and preferred healthcare providers
- Their current insurance plan information
- Questions or concerns about their existing coverage

Working Together for a Healthier Community

The partnership between Senior Benefits Advisors and Gwinnett Clinic is about more than insurance. It is about improving access to reliable information, strengthening community relationships, and helping seniors feel supported throughout their healthcare journey.

By bringing Medicare education into familiar neighborhood healthcare settings, SBA and Gwinnett Clinic are making it easier for beneficiaries and their families to get answers, understand their choices, and prepare for the year ahead.

Understanding your Medicare options is the first step toward making informed healthcare decisions.
